What Do I Need To Bring?
What
Happens In The Coaching Session?
The Coaches are UEFA and FA Qualified, Child Protection,
and First Aid trained. We follow the Football
Association Soccer Stars programme which focuses on
technical development and fun while learning. The
programme will challenge players of all abilities from
beginner to advanced.
Please arrive 10 Minutes prior
to you session start time to register...
First
Players are put into groups based on age, then the
Session starts with basic warm-up exercises and introduction.
Children are coached each week on one the following
skills for a duration of approx 20 min:

Running with the ball
-
Dribbling
-
Shooting
-
Ball control from the basics to the advanced
techniques
-
Dribbling techniques on how to beat defenders
-
Turning techniques and tricks
-
Shooting from all angles and distances with power and
accuracy
-
Tackling techniques to win the ball
-
Passing and control with drills and techniques to keep
the ball away from the other team
-
Then we always finish with a small sided game to
practice the skill just coached.

Mini Tournament Week 10...

At week 10 of the coaching plan we arrange a small mini
tournament giving the players the chance to try out
their new skills on other teams within a competition.
Each player win/loose or draw will get to play at least
three to four games. The winners of the mini tournament
receive a medal and a BIG pat on the back!

£3 for each one hour session
