Age Groups and Times

Saturday Coaching Times at Preston Arena:

Ages 5 - 8 (1130-1230am)

Ages 8 - 12 (10-11am)

Ages 12 - 15

 from 9am to 1000am (with Tournaments every 5 weeks)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is it, the best Saturday Morning Coaching around ! Below you will find information for the Saturday morning sessions at the Preston Soccer Centre.

What Happens In The Coaching Session?

The Coaches are UEFA and FA Qualified, Child Protection and First Aid trained.  We follow the Football Association Soccer Stars programme which focuses on technical development and fun while learning.  The programme will challenge players of all abilities from beginner to advanced.

  1. Arrive 10 Min Prior To Session To Register
  2. Players are put into groups based on age.
  3. Session starts with basic warm-up and introduction.
  4. Then we always finish with a small sided game to practice the skill just coached.
  5. Children are coached each week on one the following skills for a duration of approx 20 min:

·        Running with the ball

·        Dribbling

·        Shooting

·        Ball control from the basics to the advanced techniques

·        Dribbling techniques on how to beat defenders

·        Turning techniques and tricks

·        Shooting from all angles and distances with power and accuracy

·        Tackling techniques to win the ball

·         Passing and control with drills and techniques to keep the ball away from the other team

Mini Tournament Week 10!

At week 10 of the coaching plan we arrange a small mini tournament giving the players the chance to try out their new skills on other teams within a competition. Each player win/loose or draw will get to play at least three to four games. The winners of the mini tournament receive a medal and a BIG pat on the back!

What Do I Need To Bring?

Here is what you need to bring to each session:

Shin Pads

(A BIG MUST)

Drinks Bottle

(To Last 1 Hour)

Trainers

(NOT Blades or Rubbers)

Three pounds for each 1 hour session

(We are NONE profit making!)
